Cycling
In the nearby Forest of Dean cyclists are welcomed by many routes through Forestry Commission land.
Pedalways has many routes through traffic free land and for the more adventurous they have many steep and downhill

Fishing
The Wye Valley is world famous
for it's salmon fishing boasting some of
the largest salmon ever caught in Britain.
A mile up the valley from Llandogo at Bigsweir
Fishery, they have many beats covering a
2 ½ mile stretch where you can fish for
salmon and seatrout. There is a well-appointed
fishing hut and easy access to all beats.
An experienced ghillie is in attendance
daily to give help and advice. Salmon fishing
continues up until the 17th October.
